Can Everybody Look Like a Supermodel With Enough Work?

When we think of the Western ideal of feminine beauty, we usually imagine that which is promulgated by the mass media. We tend to think of Victoria Secret models, of cheerleaders, of movie stars and musicians. They all have certain elements in common: they are skinny, lean, with just the right touch of curves to their hips, rear end and breasts, with angular bone structures and flat stomachs. They are usually in possession of a gorgeous head of hair, striking features, and seem to be effortlessly beautiful. Can anybody acquire this look with enough hard work? Can you, if you train hard enough, if you eat perfectly right, also end up looking like a supermodel? In this article we take a close look at this question, and see what the limits of possibility are for the common person who is looking to up their gain.

First, let’s examine what is within out control. Despite what many people say, we can control our weight through careful eating and exercising. While some people may suffer from glandular problems, many of us simply don’t eat correctly, and as a result are overweight. If you eat right and exercise right, you can lose as much weight as you wish. Note that I am not saying this is easy: I am saying it’s possible. As such, yes, you can achieve supermodel weight. Second, anybody can take care of their skin and hair through good quality products, diet, and ensuring that they get the right amount of sunshine.

However, will losing weight and exercising right make you  look like a supermodel? You know what? You would be surprised. Have you ever seen a movie where a star puts on a fat suit and makeup to look completely unlike themselves, a regular, overweight version? And then by the end of the movie they shed that fat suit, fix their hair, and suddenly look like an incredibly attractive supermodel? Well, that process is possible in real life. You can look fantastic. You can look sleek and lean and muscled if you want.

What is beyond your ability to control is your bone structure. Thus your face and the angularity of your bones will not be changed. As such your face won’t change overmuch, nor can you change how broad your shoulders are or how wide your hips. However, you can become a beautiful, healthy version of yourself, and really, what could be more important than that?
