The amount of money spent by many people on painkillers runs into the hundreds of millions of dollars. However, there are many natural ways to treat a headache that will be better in the long run for your health. Becoming too dependent on pain killers will certainly not lessen how often you suffer from headaches and they may cause adverse reactions to your health. Rather than just popping a pill, here are some home remedies for treating headaches.

    Sometimes people can get really desperate in their attempts to cure something as simple as this and will resort to all sorts of methods in an attempt to find a cure. They have even been known to try using research chemicals which are strictly not for human consumption and are for sing as a reagent in laboratory experiments only, 2-MEO Ketamine is exactly such a substance and should not under ant circumstances be used for the purpose of curing headaches.

    Thanks doc! I've been doing your advice and I find them very effective. I've been having severe headaches this past few days maybe because of stress and lack of sleep. I think I'll better take a whole day rest at home and try the other tips you mentioned here.

    Painkillers are not a permanent solution for headache. We should use some home remedies techniques to remove this pain.

    For me, herbal teas are good for getting rid of a headache. It is a combination of the hot, steaming drink and the herbal ingredients in the tea. Chamomile and peppermint teas are two of the better ones to relieve headaches.

    Here in our office we like to think that getting regular chiropractic care and massage can prevent any headaches from happening, no painkillers necessary.

    It is always a good idea to keep some home remedies for headaches that you know work for you, as we have all experienced a headache at some point in our lives. This will likely prevent us from experiencing the side effects of over the counter drugs which claims to relieve headaches and migraines.

    I am a person that gets headaches constantly. I hate taking pills because I do not want to rely on them to make myself feel better. These remedies are a great way to get rid of my headaches permantly of less frequently. I fell alot better physically and have more energy now, and i save money by not buying all these pain killers.
